We are proud to have an LGBT+ and allies’ network that our employees can join at Arnold Clark, plus our Group Head of People, Lynne McBurney, was also named a Top 10 Corporate Ally at the British LGBT awards.

Over the last few years we have made all our people policies gender neutral and we’ve walked, driven and danced in Pride parades across the country while showing our support to LGBT+ causes like Yorkshire Terriers FC (LGBT football club).

GTG Training

There’s nothing worse than being stuck in a role with no opportunity for progression. That’s why we offer training and support to each of our employees, continually working to develop and expand their current roles and providing exciting opportunities for the future.

To help us achieve this, we have three GTG Training centres in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Wolverhampton. They provide top-class facilities and expert guidance so that our employees can develop their careers and gain further qualifications in:

  • Health and Safety
  • Transport Training
  • Automotive Technical
  • Business Skills
  • Computer and IT

Training is also provided for managers and senior staff who are looking for promotion. This is integrated with the company’s management development programme and is recognised by leading bodies throughout the industry. So, wherever you are on the career ladder, you’ll have a chance to move forward to greater success.
