• How much will learner insurance cost me?

  We take many factors into account before calculating your premium. Please submit your details via our online form and we can give you an accurate price.

• Who needs to supervise me while I’m in the car?

  Any driver, who is over the age of 25, has a full UK licence and has held their licence for 3 years or more.

• Will I still be covered when I pass my driving test?

  No, cover will cease as soon as you pass your test.

• Can I buy learner insurance to drive a car that has no other insurance cover?

  No, to use learner driver insurance the vehicle you are driving must be covered by an annual insurance policy.

• Can I use insurance at any time of the day?

  As this is insurance to cover you when you are learning to drive there is a time curfew between 10pm and 6am when no cover will be in force.

• Does the adult supervising me need to own the car that I am insuring with learner driving insurance?

  No, as long as you have gained permission from the owner of the car and the supervising driver meets our criteria (over 25, UK full licence holder with a minimum 3 years’ full licence held).
